Just thought I'd drop a line to let anyone who has an annoying buzzing coming from around the interior light on their vrs, that there is an easy fix. The cause was the mounting for the interior lights. Behind the lights there was a tang of plastic which resonated at around 4,500 rpm, worse when in "Sport mode".

The fix was to wrap a small piece of adhesive foam tape around the tang(see photo).

Not exactly ideal, as probably a design issue, but all fixed under warranty.

That's useful to know. I have the same buzzing noise too. Will ask for this fix during my first service due in December.

Thanks for this, as I have the same buzzing noise which I decided last night was coming from around the interior mirror. May have a go at fixing it myself as only had the car a month.
