Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin RE002

Featured Replies

I had Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin RE002s fitted to my 2014 Superb 170 L&K hatch about ten days ago - 225/40/18. They replaced conti sport 2s (very old spec tyre anyway) and the difference after 1,000kms is very noticeable.  The contis had bad sawtoothing which I suspect was from new but it went undetected despite having them checked several times due to droning noises at high speeds.  Only got 30k kms from the contis but that's probably not too far off what you would expect from an 18" tyre due to the softer compound.

The Bridgestone has transformed the car and for the first time since I bought it nearly ten months ago, I have a much quieter (they are 71db) and more comfortable ride.  Grip levels are very good also and the handling has improved dramatically.  They actually feel like the 17s I had on my previous Superb in terms of comfort and that hard clunky feeling that you get from 18s has disappeared.  Fingers crossed they hold up okay and I'd like to think I'll get more than 30K kms out of these. The reviews I've seen are pretty good but fuel economy might possibly suffer (?)

Anyone run these on their car recently?

I think Martyn ran a set on his fabia vRS....
