I was going to buy a copy of the DoDo Juice 'Basics of Bling' Car Detailing Tutorial (available on eBay for £2.90) and thought that I might find it cheaper (or free PDF) online.

 

30 seconds with Google revealed this is all available online for free from the 'Basics of Bling' website. Obviously this site has links and recommendations only for DoDo Juice products, but it's a good overview of the process if, like me, you are a novice to this game.

 

Hope this helps someone understand what everyone is on about.

This guide from Polished Bliss is often referred to as the definitive one..but is perhaps a lttle daunting for a total beginner

I've read bits of the Polished Bliss guides and, while comprehensive, are probably more suited to the experienced detailer and not the newbie (like me).

 

I've been reading the Auto Finesse guides today, and find these more accessible and easier to follow (lots of pictures).
