SMF conversion/new forge Actuator on an octavia VRS

Featured Replies

I'm going to put a SMF conversion and clutch on my Octavia in the next week or so and was wondering if these are the correct parts to get . Can you get it cheaper else where ?

sorted actuator out from beach buggys , now is that clutch any good ? has anyone fitted it ? been told about the 4pc solid clutch conversion in Valeo  but been told its only good to 270lbs of torque . anyone know any better or cheaper ones ?

You could source the parts yourself as it'd be cheaper.

But for off the shelf darksides is the best out there.

Have a search for threads started by Bodge, this had the part numbers and various links in it

Sure that's the clutch (DarkSide) that BossFox fitted to the Yeti VRS project wich is putting out 330bhp and 335nm which the clutch handles fine.

Yeah ive seen a few guy buys bits from places

Im a worry wart so would just go to someone who can give me a box and say "now this just needs fitting" lol

Darkside fit for cheap too , but bloody mileage away from me :(
