My instructions were to video putting up to 250ml of water on the 'gift', then sharing the video! Not tried it yet.

Hoping to try the snowfoam tomorrow, if the weather is better than today (flooded roads at times).

Gave this a go today, as it was dry and sunny, with the rain forecast to hold off for a few hours. It dwells much longer than either VP Neutral or BH Autofoam, at least for me. The car wasn't particularly dirty, but you could see quite a bit of discolouration in the foam flowing away under the car. Did the whole car in 2/3 of the bottle (1 1/2 inches of CarChem in the bottle, topped up with warm water) where I normally get through the full litre. The neat foam has a slight chemical smell, but no noticeable smell when using it on the car.

Just applied:

After 3-4 minutes:

Half way through shampooing the heavens opened - so much for the forecast - so I didn't bother with drying after the final rinse with the PW.

The Sonax BSD is still doing its stuff with the rain:

Put it back on the drive and treated it to a new pair of Bosch Aerotwin wipers.

Time will tell, but so far this looks to be an excellent snowfoam, and even more so when you consider the GB price.

Thanks for posting up this mini review Martin.

Looks good and at this price.... Great value.

Was considering a test here too.... Then the heavens opened! Oh well.... Maybe tomorrow :)

And just for the sake of completeness :)

That sponge was big enough to cover your ………

Thankyou

Ordered one

I tried it out this afternoon on SWMBO 's Seat. I only used 100ml which was about 1/2 an inch in the AB SF lance bottle and topped it up as per the web at around 5:1 with hot water so only filled the bottle up to around 1/2 full. There was just enough to do the whole car so at that rate there's enough for 50 applications at that concentration which is very good value. It didn't seem as thick as the VP, but as I normally use more of that it's not surprising, but again it seemed to dwell longer and disperse better. Her car still had some dirt on it though which showed up on the white MF Megs mit I use on hers, but that could be due to how dirty her car was, rather than the fault of the SF. Either way it's very good value IMO on the DW deal and I'lll be interested in what the more experienced amongst us make of it. Just off to soak my sponge.....if it stays soft it'll be used to dress my tyres.

Nice - good price too!

I might order from here next time i need some.

They are also on the CarChem website - when you buy your Foam, Shampoo, Group Buy etc.

They stock the various size tap dispensers on the website - to make it easy to order the correct one.

5L, 20/25L types listed.

I too, used only 1/2 inch ..but in 1 litre of warm water....SWMBO car not very dirty, but it foamed well at that dilution and removed some dirt within a few minutes

All in all..quite impressed with it and should last well
