1U Octavia: mpg correction after injectors change

Featured Replies

Just wondering if there is an adaptation or tweak using VCDS to display the fuel consumption properly after I've fitted bigger injectors, from AUQ 314cc to BAM 380cc? I can sometimes get fuel economy to over 53mpg, but this is wildly exaggerated of course. Not massively bothered, but if it takes 5 mins to reprogram, I might as well do it.

Yes it's pretty easy and quick to do, can't remember if it's instruments its under (pretty sure it is) then adaptations, change the value that is currently 100%, every 1% you increase the value brings the mpg down by roughly ½ mpg.

Excellent, thanks for that. I'll give it a shot next time I have the laptop connected to the car. Cheers!
