Got a Mini Roadster JCW to do this weekend. Went to check it out and as expected its swirled to high heaven (ex demo car). It's got red vinyl stripes on as seen below and they are very swirly. Would I be alright to hit these with a finishing pad and something like 205 or better off filling with tripple?

Had a similar dilema when polishing Brimma's JPS

I used the same pad, but reduced the pressure when going over the logos and stripes...very successfuly

The pad also removed old AGSRP polish residue around the edges

Thanks Chris, might tackle them first then mask them up whilst I do the rest of the car.

You can mask up but I didnt find that necessary. Youll see when you start

The colour is lovely, I'll have to get some proper photos of it in natural light this weekend but I'm a huge fan.

It's going to have a wax yes as the owner wasn't that fussed about my beloved coatings!! So we are going with Obsession Wax Itus for the winter!
