Beginners Detail

Featured Replies

Having received some encouragement and some great advice from people on this forum (particularly a certain detailer on the forum) I have spent a few weekends cleaning both mine and the wife's car.

A few weeks ago I detoxed the car, used IronX, Tardis, clay mitt and some Autoglym shampoo before a polish with some Poorboys polish, followed by their White Diamond glaze and finally some Colinite insulator wax on top.

Today I re-washed with the new snow foam lance, AG shampoo, towel dry with the belting towel from the group buy then sealed with Sonax BSD.

Wheels and shuts were also sealed with Sonax BSD.

I think it looks pretty good for a beginner!

Updated! Thanks Chris for pointing me in the right direction.

Great to see the pictures at last..... and catching the car and superb paintwork in the nice sunset too!  :sun:

Awesome work indeed - well done and thanks for sharing!

Well done Andy, it's hard to get good pictures, but you can tell you have done a good job.

I hope you enjoyed it more than anything really, once the bug bites look after your wallet.

Again well done.

Good job! It is a dangerously expensive (not to mention obsessive) world you are entering.
