Megs Paint Protect 365 days durability claimed

Featured Replies

Just been reading about this on dw.

I'm sure it will be ok but u can't imagine it will live up to the 365 days.

For the price it looks great :)

Interesting though Carl

Would like to see how it performs ....thats for sure

Sounds like Sonax BSD with a lot of added durability!

Or am I reading it wrong?

I have seen CYC making lots of noises about this recently on FB and detailing forums.

For the price - sounds like it will make it into my basket when i next order

Looks like a good idea if it can live up too the claims

Don't get me wrong I would give it a try. It's just a bold claim.

I would get withdrawal symptoms !

:giggle:  ....fair point!

I'd get bored at only applying my protection once a year, lol.

They claim that it lasted 50 washes but didn't clarify whether that was one wash every week for 50 weeks or they just washed the car 50 times?

Is this available anywhere in the UK yet?

My mate is at SEMA and i've asked him to grab some if he can, Megs have numerous stands at the exhibition apparently.

It says 50 consecutive washes. So that doesn't take in to account the environmental conditions. Salt, wind and rain etc will reduce that somewhat.

50 is a lot though even without salt, rain, snow etc!!

So pretty good for a spray and buff product

However, ceramic sealants will easily out perform that

Anyone know a date for UK sales BTW?

If I get a bottle I will send some samples out for people to try

Now that's more like it!!!

Good man  ;)

Should compete with the likes of C2v3, which is great as I like these type of products after machining.

Very generous NorthernMonkey. Nice one pal

I'm talking too him now, it's his last day & he is in a queue to meet Chip Foose, told him to get his ass over to Megs stand, lol.

....any updates on this?

He flew back over the weekend so I've left him alone as he will be shattered. I'm not sure if he went back to the Megs stand or not. Apparently the show was massive & it's not a case of just nipping from 1 stand to another. I'll let you all know in due course if he managed to get any.

No worries - i appreciate the update
