Has anyone had their vRS seats spray protected etc?

Morning

Is this even possible, do the seats pick up marks? I have two daughters and boy are they messy.

I had the Autoglym lifeshine put on by the dealer when I bought the car. The interior is coated with a protective spray which is guaranteed to stop permanent marks. If they cannot get the mark out they will replace the seat cover under warranty (according to my dealer).

Did mine with a Lifeshine kit I bought of Ebay for £16 - really does protect the seats but you need to leave it at least overnight to dry properly, probably more this time of year.  Used the exterior kit to protect the wheels and bumpers, did not cover the whole car as was not sure whether ti would be better than my normal polish/sealers but after 12 months they are still very easy to keep clean.

I got Inspired Automotive (Wakefield) to coat my Elegance seats, which is like a faux suede, with one of the Gtechniq products.

So far they have cleaned up well from the odd spot of MTB mud and the water simply beads on the surface, as I found out when I accidentally hosed them down through an open window!

I also got him (Mitch) to ceramic coat the bodywork and wheels. I can't say anything other than awesome. The car comes back to mint everytime I wash it.

Gtechniq I1 smart fabric spray is very good...

cheers, Steve

I used this as well; along with the rest of their products for paint and glass and don't recommend anything else. If you register with Detailing World you also get 10% discount; just post in the forum to get it added to your account.

Buy some 303 aerospace interior protector and do it yourself. It's cheap, easy and works well. Reapply every 6 months.

Perfect, I live in Wakefield. Was it expensive buddy?
