Well it seems that it pays to have a good relationship with a decent tyre shop.

I have had a company car for 12 years now and have been using the same place for tyres for much longer.

Well today I bought my first set of new winter tyres for my Octavia. I have in the past either not bothered due to the company car or I have had bigger 4x4s.

 

I bought my Octavia last year as a weekend run around and as it is a 4x4 I thought I would get some winters fitted.

I have been using Vredestien Snowtrac 3s on the compant car but they were a bit more than my budget.

 

Anyway I have just had a set of Hankook icept Evo winters in 205/55/16 V94 fitted inc new valve and balanced for £74 each which I think is a decent price.

Not bad at all.

Which tyre place was that at fella?

Dexel Tyres.

Their on line price is £84 each fitted for H rated but as The company I work for send a lot of work their way they did me a good price.
