I'm lead to beleive I have a injector at fault, does anyone have one laying around that's for sale?

    Have you checked wiring Paul?

    As you've recently been under cam cover could be a connecter not quite on properly :)

    Might be worth closing the gap up a little bit on the plugs as well while it's off.

    I have had the injectors out and back in again but still have the rough start and flat spot at 1500revs, I will try what Hutchy said and see what it does

    I'm sure I've read somewhere the loom can break down between the multiplug on side of head and the injectors.

    While its in bits test the wiring loom from injector plugs to multiplug :)

    Loom more likely

    Changed one yesterday on a newer shape passat, cured the bad starting on that one.
