VCDS has reported an error code that I cannot find reference to in the Ross Tech documentation.

 

Can anybody throw any light on this? I attach an abbreviated report.

 

The vehicle is a 2014 Octavia 3 1.4 Tsi DSG.

 

The only thing I can think that may be causing this is a dash cam connected to a permanent live. The webcam turns itself on/off automatically using a motion detector. Sometimes I have noticed it remaining on even when the car has been parked up for a while so draining the battery.  Or is this a red herring?

Yep, that'll be it, unless there is something else staying live/on, i.e. door module or suchlike

Definitely the dash cam.

Mine logs the same code if left on in parking mode.

Just tried some experiments and we were all correct. Dashcam the culprit.

Another fault code to add to the manual!
