vrs groaning noise when turning?

Featured Replies

2006 fabia vrs. cars recently developed an annoying intermittent fault, only does it when on 3/4 to full lock and mainly just in reverse ( and more when cold) its makes this awful groaning noise but cant tell if its coming from like the steering pump/rack or suspension. friend of mine thats a mechanic took it out today but couldnt get it to fault (typical) any one else had any problems like this?

Did he check the fluid level under the battery tray? It's abit if a pain to check but sounds like it's low.

Could it be the rear brakes groaning/ squeeling.

Mine does it from time to time as I don't us my car every day
