I have a very quick question on some parts I need to replace as soon as possible...

 

I've no idea what dipped bulb my VRS MKII takes (to be fair, I've not flipped the bonnet open yet to have a look but the rain is hammering down at the moment so the less time I spend in it the better!!).  Before I go tinkering, can anyone tell me what bulb type the dipped beam is for a 2006 VRS MK2.  This is a stock VRS so I'm confident it's not had an HID kit fitted or anything.

 

Additionally, I'm on the hunt for a new pair of wipers.  Am I right in thinking that the each wiper is a different size?  They don't sell them in pairs in fleabay and I've seen both 19" and 21" for sale.

go onto wiperblades.co.uk and put your cars info in. I think its 21" for one blade and 19" for the other.

 

Bulbs: if you had HID's you'd know it so you will have H1 main beam and H7 dipped. There is an entire page dedicated to bulbs in the cars manual if you have it. The manual is available in PDF form at the top of the mk2 octavia section

24 and 19 for the front wipers for my 2006 Vrs, they are a different fitment to other wiper blades tho as I found out so you are best being able to check with your car details before buying or you could end up with a set of wipers that are useless
