USB and iPhone

Featured Replies

I know this has been discussed, but I tried connecting my iPhone to the USB port, and it started charging the phone. No problem with that.

Nothing more that I have read multiple times here that the phone won't charge using usb, only mitsumi.

So I was surprised (positive) that it worked.

And maybe others want to know that too after reading the other posts.

if the USB isn't charging then it's broke, one of the fundimentals of USB is it supples power......

mine charges but will not play on my ipod as no mitsumi. although I am going to try an older style (pre-touch) and see if that works :)

It won't.

I shall not waste my time....was hoping it'd still be classed as a storage device
