Coolent Sensor Issue

Featured Replies

So the other week the coolent light kept coming on. A shifty under bonnet and located a crack in header bottle and a leaky Rad in the bottom corner All replaced and fresh coolent added at garage.

Having owned a VRS before I knew about the header bottle / sensor fault anyway so was glad new header bottle fitted anyway.

A month later coolent light and beep again. No coolent lose. It's been up on a lift and no sign of coolent leaks and level fine. Could this fault possibly be the Coolent Temp Sensor ? The warning light tends to come on when the car is warm.

Cheers Guys / Gals
