Coolant Temp Sensor

Featured Replies

Think my coolant temp sensor is goosed, gona try this first before new thermostat as it's running fine, is it hard to fit?any 'how to guides' on here? Cheers guys any help would be appreciated

On the mk1 held in by a plastic C clip, easy fix , should be same i imagine just make sure you buy from the dealer, wont be cheap but will work properly.

Was going to get one from europarts won't it be ok?

I would go to the stealers myself, reason been there mate its false economy on such parts they dont work the same as oe parts.

Will get it from TPS then it's a genuine one just hoping it is this and not the thermostat is there any way to know?

What are the symptons to think its the temp sensor.

It's getting up to 90 on the gauge which it's where it normally sits but every now and again it drops below this. It's just a guess it's the sensor, it's running perfect very strange infact today it got up to 90 and worked fine, il maybe just keep an eye on it
