hi guys, a little while after i bought my vrs me and my mate dan6189 decided to decode the spec codes in the boot and found it had an electronic diff. now im wondering if its anything 'special' or just some fancy jargon meaning really its like ASR or something. does anyone know anything about them??

Nothing special, its just part of the ASR as you say. Electronic diff lock is a form of traction control and I believe it works by applying the brake to the wheel that is spinning so that the torque goes to the wheel that still has traction.
