Dilemma

Featured Replies

What to do?

I was fairly happy with my vrs very comfy etc apart from thinking it needed more umph.

Had a service and saw new cars, now tempted to look at something else.

Options are :

New fiesta st2 with montune upgrade for around £17k and trade mine at around £12k.

Possibly Audi S1 around £24k

Or stick with mine be happy and get it remapped, for a few hundred quid?

I'm a toe rag for getting itchy feet every couple of years. The vrs is all paid for so no real reason to change.

It would be cash difference not finance on the other options

Wife would rather she had a new kitchen though but can usually talk her round ;)

Remap. It has certainly renewed my interest after 6 years of ownership!

Not such a dilemma now.

Took the Fiesta ST out, what an excellent little motor, very responsive, runs on rails but possibly a bit too focused for the twisty roads and a younger body.

Maybe if I were 20 years younger but the stiff suspension would be hard to live with on a daily basis with the poor roads here and also the lack of luxuries compared to my vrs's standard kit, would be sadly missed.

Now going to look at a decent remap for some more punch :)

Find a Shark agent...... closest to you is Stoud? Or get a dtuk tuning box if that suits your needs better and you don't fancy the round trip.
