Can anyone tell me if the 2 codes - 9156 & A7W are both for the exact same colour paint or are there slight differences.

 

I ask because some sellers on ebay are selling it with one code and others are using the other.

Do you not have a dealer near by as the genuine touch up kit is normally less than a tenner and are a guaranteed match.

Bit expensive when ther's other folk selling bottles for £4.25. Is the cheap stuff not always a perfect match then?

I couldn't say TBF, but hopefully some others may have ordered the same colour so might be able to recommend a seller to you. I got a bottle of race blue mixed on site at Halfords and it wasn't even close, which put me off going anywhere else but obviously that's just one bad experience. I guess it'll be great of theirs does match as you'll save a few quid but it would be a PITA if its not a good match. Your money, your call. Good luck

It's no use to me now (car has gone).

Thanks but its the wrong colour. Its Brilliant Silver I need 9156. Think I'll take a gamble on the ebay cheapie first.

Mine isn't Diamond Silver even though it was meant to be.

It was an eBay cheapie, so beware!
