Trouble Shooting The Map

Featured Replies

I'm getting frustrated with the lack of torque iv had for about a month, MPG figures are terribale best being around the 25 / 28 mark, worst being 15 / 20

after logging in vcds my boost seems fine but could the map sensor still be faulty?

I have disconnected the vac  pipe from the vacuum box and even applied vacuum to the actuator and drove around for a short while to try and generate a code.

Now i dont know if it works like that i'm trying to rule out my map sensor. i'm pretty sure if the map was working correctly it would show the under boost code by disconnecting the vaccum hose?

changed the maf sensor, temp sensor, thermostat, and ran a litre of diesel purge on the weekend with improved results

this log was running my remapped bora ecu at the time, as i though my ecu was faulty
