Se Sport Purchased

Featured Replies

Went and had a look at a Spaceback SE Sport today and was pleasantly surprised with it so have agreed a deal to swap SWMBO's Fabia Monte Carlo for a new one,

Having heard mixed reports and not seen many flattering pictures I was sceptical but can honestly say that apart from a slight reservation that the rear suspension looks a tad high that I was won over by the car, felt it was well spec'd, the sport seats were very comfy, IMO it drove and rode nicely too was certainly not as harsh as the Monte Fabia we have and we both loved the light from the big panoramic roof.

Now I'm on the hunt for some nice black and chrome 'ray' alloys that some of the first dealer models came with which when matched to the corrida red and the black 'sport' pack roof IMO will finish the car off.

Good choice, ours is an SE with Sport Pack; effectively the precursor to the SE Sport but devoid of climate or nav. Likewise thinking of changing the standard silver Camelot alloys to either Ray or Savio after fitting dark grey 15" Alutec rims for winter;

we've gone for the 1.6 TDi 90 having been in a 1.2 TSi 86 in the Fabia.

Gone for the diesel due to the distance we both drive to work and the saving (although not much) on the tax.

I remembered Hortons advertising a set.

Make sure your insurance will cover your lovely new panoramic roof under the windscreen cover, not all do.

Very nice choice. The Rays will look great on the car [emoji106]

Just waiting to get the ray alloys now and some sill protectors too.

That's a good spec car - all the dash goodies, and glass roof, and sports seats. I Like it. Very upmarket for what is supposedly a budget motor.

Must admit was really sceptical about them but the sports seats are nearly on a par with those in my vrs, the panoramic roof makes the car feel really bright inside and the sat nav, maxi dot, climate and mfsw make it a pleasant drive.
