Xenons

Featured Replies

Guys! I'm looking to swap out all the bulbs for xenons/white bulbs! I'm not sure which bulbs I need so any advise would be cracking! Drl's, headlights, mains and fogs

I've fitted Osram Nightbreaker Ultimates to my Monte Carlo for headlights, they do make a difference and you could get them for under £20 the pair from Euro Car Spares!

Have a look at Hids-direct website and look at the HID kits, been reading a bit on them and they seem the way to go.. Ordering mine next month

As for just bulbs, i used to have Bosch HID bulbs and they were very bright and white, got them from Halfords 2 years ago but dunno if they still do them. Osram are also good and as for the DRLs you can get LEDs or Mtec bulbs which are like blue i believe but google them

Dont bother with any bulb with a blue coating. They dont put out as much output as the decent ones.

If you want halogens, as Prykey says, osram nightbreaker unlimited are the way to go. Youll see a noticeable increase in performance.

Failing that, hids give the best output and give a nice blue/white light which looks more classy.

Sidelights etc can be changed to LEDs to get rid of the orange tinge.

get HID's but the sake of sanity see the thread on here called "fitting HID's"  Endless info in there and will answer your questions.
