I'm new here, only had the car 48 hours.  I am looking to fit my single din Alpine HU into my Octavia 2 vRS, I've had a look around and think I have found the right parts/part numbers.  Mine is a climate version, am I right in thinking I need to order the stereo fitting kit and the fascia panel surround?

Really? I read that the kit came with the facelift fascia and I need to order the pre facelift version.  Great news if I don't though

if yours is a preFL then you will need a preFL fascia as well as they don't do the kits for the PreFL anymore and the kit comes with FL facia,  I think the matt black ones are the cheapest at around £5
