Today's the day!

Going to pick up my new Octy today and I'm excited and apprehensive at the same time. This will be the first new car I've bought and not sure what to expect. :(

Good stuff mate... hope you enjoy your first day with the vrs!

Give you an idea of what to expect......... BROAD GRINS when you drive it :):)

I guess it'll be a while before you let us know more - since you'll be doing the proverbial "quick spin around the UK" no doubt :)

If you turn up in the "Spotted - was it you" forum as someone driving with a big grin, it'll be a dead giveaway LOL

You can`t beat the feeling of driveing a brand new car, the smell and feel of it. I`ve had 4 new cars since 1993, and going to buy another next year.

Well, it was still on the drive when I woke up this morning so I'm not dreaming :) I was probably over cautious driving home, Saturday shoppers everywhere. After a few miles I relaxed a bit and started to savour what lay in store. The wife drove to Lakeside and we did our shopping and I couldn't help peering out Tesco's window at every chance to see the car (parked conspicuously far away from the other muppets in the carpark). Later my brother popped over to have a look (another Octy owner) and took it for a spin. He found an oppotunity to raise the tempo and Jeez did she go, like a scolded cat! I think we're going to get along just fine

Fitted my plates this morning and the alloy tax holder and if the weather holds out a little pootle later to get some photo's :D .

Dealer has to arrange for the fitter to fit the reverse sensors, that should be Wednesday as the guy was on holiday last week.

:)

Yes, I often wonder whether I'm looking out of the window to check it's safe or just to admire what I've spent my hard-earned on!

Happy motoring and be safe BTW cos that glazed look can obscure vision

More piccies
