From Audi to Skoda

Hello Briskodians,

I'm new to the forum but have looked around the site at various times before I decided on what car to purchase following my 2002 Audi S3. Actually I'm still driving the S3 and hoping to sell it privately soon. The main reason for changing is the running costs, hence choosing a '54 reg Fabia vRS which should somewhat beat my average 24 mpg.

My previous cars have been a '96 Polo 1.6 GLX then a '97 Polo 1.4 16v so I've always had something VAG.

I'm sure you all know what they look like by now, but here's mine:

And the Audi:

And one of the Polo's, it looks less Pink in person:

That's all for now.

Yea them S cars drink the juice. Had an old S6 and 20mpg was a best case scenario. Miss the 4WD but a remap and the Furby feels quick. 40mpg easily with spirited driving, 60 achievable. well cheap on insurance too, compared to the audis. oh and that car is very pink however you look at it.

Took a deposit on the Audi today, good timing to get tax back from next month and put the vRS on the road. The name of the colour is actually Memory Red according to the paint code, but yes it does take a certain light for it to look anything other than pink. This one is a bit better.
