I want to buy and fit a parrot MKi9200 to my Octavia vrs mk2, I'm wondering where the best place to fit the mic, screen & control would be?? I'm new to this sort of tec as I've never needed it before!

When I had mine (though it was an 3200LS), I had the mic at the top of the A pillar, clipped onto the top of the plastic trim. The screen was between the dash and the headunit with the cable popping out from behind the silver plastic strip there. Just to the right of the wiper stalk in this picture.

Not an MKi9200 but I've just fitted a CK3100 to my Superb.

 

Mic is just to right of rear view mirror and screen is just about the Bolero on the silver trim. Main control unit buried deep under the dash, below the ashtray unit.

 

 

Mine isn't a Parrot, but will give you an idea for mounting places

 

 

 

 

 

I decided to keep the controls near the unit as I didn't feel comfy using it down behind the gear stick

 

 

My MKi9200 screen and control sit in between the blowers and CD player and the microphone is up the A pillar and sits at the top.
