I have an Octavia vrs 57 plate saloon fitted with a stream head unit. I've found a head unit I like with my friend has in his Leon. I wanted to check if anyone knew the demensions of a stream head unit. It fits my friends Leon which looks to be identical to my Octavia dimensions. I just wanted some clarity on this as can barely find any similar head units list for the mk2 pre fl Octavia. Any help much appreciated.

If it fits a Seat (part of the VAG group) it should fit an Octavia.

Finding a fascia / surround might be a different story though.

as above. it looks like its designed for the vw dash which will most likely fit but due to the vw's using a different shape layout to the centre console you are unlikely to find a surround which will fit

Cheers for the reply's, would a Columbus/amunsden fascia not fit then? The other brand I have seen is the ice box auto ANS 810 but wasn't sure if this will fit either? 

The link takes me to the website, but not the unit. Can you post a picture? I've just fitted an 8" double din to mine, finding the surround was tricky, I'm waiting my mine to arrive at my local dealer, to see if it's the right one and fits
