CECM

Hello everyone

I have got a 57 plate Octavia I was having lighting issues mainly a front indicator not working and a side light on the opposite side, upon using my THIRD auto electrician to find the issue have been told the cecm buffered.

Part code is 3co 937049 ah now this is a 30byte unit

So my questions are can I fit any 30byte unit, or does it have to be the exact same one.

If its the same one will I need to get it reprogrammed

Any suggestions as to where to buy one from there are some on eBay but not sure if there in good condition or not, need urgent help as need car for work.
