So here we have the APR kit from my Yeti.

1.8tsi - 2009.

This was slightly restricted by me running a standard exhaust from the downpipe back, but still made 290bhp.

It should make 310-320 with a full exhaust system.

 

What's included:

 

APR KO4 stage 3 turbo kit,

Four red R8 coilpacks, (you will get misfires without these)

Audi S3 Intercooler,

Miltek downpipe with sports cat. (version that's compatible with 4x4 cars)

 

All in this cost a fair amount.

About £3,800 IIRC (+mapping and fitting)

 

Once installed you will have to get your car remapped to suit.

 

My price is £1,800.

The APR turbo kit alone is currently £2,550 which does not included mapping.  That's just the parts.

 

If you want the 1.8tsi engine it's all bolted too, including the gearbox and uprated clutch that's only another £200 on top, so £2,000.

Buyer collects!

The engine was using about 200ml of oil per full track day, just to be clear.  And being upgraded the clutch is sharper than stock.

 

I have done 2,200 miles and seven track days on this kit and it's good.

Only upgrading to go over 400bhp.  For which I need a different engine.

I don't know.

If there are any differences it might be the manifold, but I can't confirm this.

£150 if you want it.  Diff and Haldex controller.

Dealer price is about £2,200+VAT for the diff/haldex unit alone.

You can have the Stage 3 kit, engine, clutch, gearbox everything for that.

Just missing air intake as the VW Racing one is now on the 500bhp 2.5tfsi (obviously a good bit of kit then...)
