Require Remote 12v to switch on Subwoffer.

Tap into any convenient switched 12V source. If your car has a boot power outlet, that might even be sufficient... in many cars it's switched off when the car is locked and switched on again when unlocked. Otherwise ignition line, daytime running lights... basically anything that will keep the amp on when you want it (regardless of whether the head unit is on) and turn it off when you're not in the car.

thanks ,,but only want sub on when radio is on. surprised that no connection from the radio.

The thing is that it doesn't matter that it's on whenever the car is running, it must though be off when the car is locked to prevent it draining the battery.

DRL's power source not an option as goes off when ext. lights activated.

Where can I tap in to ignition 'on'.

Don't have a wiring diagram, so help please.
