HI , I recently went away for 2 weeks working and on my return the battery in the car was flat , I charged the battery and all runs fine but my electric windows have stopped working , I have searched on here and have done the below but there still not working

1- disconnected the battery and left to reset ECU

2- Held buttons up and then down

3- turned key and held for 10 secs  in the lock and unlock positions

4- popped cover off in door jam and checked and cleaned connection

The car is a 1.2 Bohemia Est if it any help

Any help appreciated as its driving me mad

Many thanks Jon

I'm still no further forward and fed up with driving with the door card off . Any help greatly appreciated

Use a multimeter to check for voltage to windows, motors, switches etc....................check fuses.........

Just out of interest would codes show on a normal ODB scanner or would it need to be VAG ? I have scanned on my scanner and on TORQUE and no codes found ?

Would be an OBD extension IMO. So probably need something VAG specific....

Fuses are (should be... ) 46 and 58. Check fuses are not blown but also that their contacts are clean. Also try electrical contact cleaner on the drivers door switch connector.

Fuses all OK may have to take it in to scan before spending ages looking for faults

Well popped to an ex skoda garage yesterday and as I had the door card off they popped a spare test motor on and sure enough its the motor. Apparently there are 6 versions on the same part number and they want £160 for the motor
