I've just discovered that one of my DSLRs has an AF fine tuning facility.  Has anyone used this on their DLSR, and what improvements (if any) did it bring?  Would something like this be OK to use for this purpose?

I've used it on my D7000 as it's having auto focus issues which is apparently a common issue.  It's definitely helped but it's still not perfect :( Unless you've noticed any focus problems then it probably won't be worth while but there's no harm in trying as you can always reset it after
