Key fob cover

Featured Replies

Hi can anyone post a pic of the mark 3 octavia key fob, because I was going to buy one of those gel covers and wanted to make sure I bought the right one.

Also any comments on the covers if they are any good?

Many thanks

I have one bought from amazon from seller bluepony...............very good & unlike photo has proper marked & coloured symbols on key cover.

I have these.

@goranl: looks nice. Where did you get them ?

Aliexpress. Can't find the link for the life of me, though search for covers for the mk7 golf and it should come up.

I have these.

those look pretty cool. I found two links (1 and 2), not sure what the difference is, presumably sellers? (not entirely certain how this alibaba thingy works; presumably very well seeing their share price).

How much thicker are the keys after fitting the silicone covers?

EDIT: Goranl: consider your post "liked", but somehow the button disappeared

oops I just realised that I called the site alibaba, instead of aliexpress...and for some reason I cannot edit my posts anymore

First link is where i ordered it from. Well with the cover on the key is 20mm thick, which for me isn't an issue as it helps me from accidentally flipping the key open and adds some grip so it doesn't fall out of my pocket so easily.

cheers. So a few mms more. The less slippery key is actually quite useful I think. I'm nervous as hell, so flipping the key open is done on a regular basis, maybe this will make me calmer then? :notme:
