noisy dsg

Hi

My 170 superb dsg is kinda noisy at slow speeds when I accelerate slowly. It's bit like 'brumm brumm' noise

I just bought it today and have no prior experience driving a similar car so I don't know if it's just me or it's just the normal car acceleration as it's a bit powerful car? Help?

Thanks

Just wanted to update this as I know other people had similar issue.

Took it to dealer and they carried out a fix on the air inlet hose.

now it doesn't vibrate at low rpm, just gurgles a little if that makes sense.

I gather this is the engine and not the box that the booming was coming from?

VAG engines that are a bit leggy (high miles) do suffer this and it is normally an induction leak that causes it, the gurgle should go in time, if not they've lied to you and sealed something up that's sucking it in in the reverse same way air pressure works a whistle.

The brum brum noise can also be a new exhaust part, uncoked exhausts suffer from resonance, goes away once the metal is coated with carbon, can take some time to get there as well sadly.
