Hey just wondering what you think the issue could be.

 

I have had the service now message for the last week but as my car is a rental and had been given to me back after getting the tracking done, i never thought anything of it.

 

Anyways a few days later the Glow Plug Warning light started flashing ( it comes and goes when the engine i turned off and restarted, until i've driven a few minutes.

 

And tonight the Exhaust Inspection system light came on and remains solid along with the flashing Glow Plug Warning light.

 

The Exhaught Inspection system light will sometimes go off when the car is restarted and remain off for a good while before returning.

 

 

Any idea what those two lights and the service now warning could set me back and the problem ?

I think a bit more info is needed. Your 1st post we don't know what car you have, how old, how many miles, is the service due etc, etc?

 

Ok it's most likely a Rapid and a diesel and all I know from owning diesels if the glow plug warning light is on one or more are at fault and need changing. As for the service light well maybe that all ties in with the glow plug(s) and needing a service or even DPF blocked.

What car is it? How far do you drive daily?
