New Aussie RS Octavia Dec14

Featured Replies

2cool.gif,

Just ordered a new Black Pearl vRS Manual Lift-back with Tech Pack and Gemini Anthracite 18's and Black Pack!bowdown.gif

Could not get a price on Turini 18's for some strange reason other than they are 'really expensive"?icon_confused.gif

Any clues out there?

Other than that very happy and now patiently waiting.

Have been waiting 35 years for a 'new car' anyway so I can wait a bit longer!

It should be a keeper anyhow.

Quite the upgrade from a Suzuki Sierra....

(What in God's name is a Suzuki Sierra?!)

Welcome to the waiting club, take a seat and I hope you have stocked up on food and refreshments: It will be a long wait :-)

A Skoda Octavia Scout with less boot space and more ground clearance ;-)

He's going to love the vRS....... Especially the ride quality.

we can joke as much as we want (and we probably will) but at the end of the day mungomunn will just drive up that sidewalk in his Suzuki, while we stop because we are scared to scratch the alloys, the bumper, undercarriage etc. :-)

You are looking at $AUS1400 for Turini wheels, well that is what I will be paying when my vRS finally arrives.

Awaiting: 2015 Skoda Octavia vRS Combi (MY15) | Black Magic Pearl 2.0L TSI DSG |  Tech Pack with RVC | Comfort Pack | 18" Black Turini Wheels | Auto Boot | Panoramic Sunroof | Chrome Pack | Alarm | Extended Warranty Ordered 31/05/14 ETA 04/15

You can get a set of vmr v710s for that price! Much nicer than turinis too! And lightweight.

Congrats on the car, I got mine yesterday after seven months! (Not a vrs though)

Guys,

thanks for the welcome and advice.

My Suzy is a 1985 LWB Ute.  LWB but my knees still hit the dash!  It will go just about anywhere in great discomfort and some of my mates can't even get in the passenger side!

But it was my dear old Dad's ute and will be with us for another 30 odd years I hope.  My wife just laughs about it and my sentimentality.

Anyhow I am looking forward to the 'new' addition.  I asked about the comfort pack and my guy at Skoda Brisvegas didn't seem to know about it either?

How much and what do you get.  I may update the order.

Thanks again and glad to be part of the crew,

:p Mungomunn
