Vibration about 1200rpm

Featured Replies

For the past few days noticed a vibrating noise at 1200rpm when stopped or driving. Didn't come in lower than 1200rpm & went above that level.Took into dealer this afternoon & after much searching they found it was 2 air conditioning pipes vibrating against one another. Moved them apart & placed some sort of cushioning material between them. They state they have never seen this problem before & can't understand why it has happened.

If you get similar noise might be worth considering this.

Where does vibration come from?

Where does vibration come from?

The 2 pipes too close together. They were somewhere in the engine compartment & the tech had to have the car up on the ramp to get at them.

Hopefully now fixed but time will tell, at least noise has gone.
