Tailgate washer Jets

Featured Replies

My 58 reg. Octavia's rear jets are constantly getting blocked, especially this time of year. Any suggestions how fix this problem?

They block with the additives in the screen wash, must admit had same trouble with mk1 and duly removed it. Its a crap design pull the jets off and stand in boiling water helps get rid of debris.

I was thinking the same. I use Lidl wash all year round "safe for fan type nozzles". The front nozzles have never blocked but the less frequently used  rears block regularly. Fortunately they are easy to remove and clean out with some stiff copper wire that I keep in the car. Just glad the pipe has not dropped off. I'd like a permanent fix also.

Used the Lidl stuff since I first stumbled across it 4 years ago.  Not had a blocked jet yet.  It really does work down in very cold temperatures too.
