Fabia vrs se mk1 suspension

Featured Replies

Hi all, been a member for a while now and wondered if anyone had changed the suspension on a fabia vrs se. I am looking for advise on a mid price kit for springs and shocks and don't want much lowering, approx. 30mm at most? Don't want a spine crunching ride either lol.

I went for the vogtland sport spring and shocks kit, £300 from dpm performance. Couldn't be happier with it, firm but in no way harsh. Was wanting a subtle drop as im not fond of the decked on its a**e look lol.

Do you find it bouncy at all? I just have springs on mine and I find it's sometimes a little bouncy, yet not much role through the corners...

Paul, I personally would recommend this route rather than coilovers :) gives it the much needed better stance and retains comfort/practicality :)

Thanks guys, much appreciated, looks really nice, even got the smoked alloys that I have been looking for !!!! Also looking for a reasonable price brake upgrade and was wondering if anyone had fitted Octavia vrs discs and wanted to know if different carriers are required

Sounds like your dampers are shot if you're getting a bouncy ride, but little compression whilst cornering.
