JBS have finally managed to convince their supplier to get some LAN pipes to them. So next Tuesday i'll be over at chesterfield having it fitted - cant wait!!

So anyone here have an ABD CAI fitted and if so, just what can i expect sound wise, i take it there wont be any performance gain, but i guess all the little things add up over time........

If any of ya are over at JBS's new premises on tue around 10ish, i'll keep a look out for ya's

Pimpster has one... if you have just normal box at the moment expect big noise diffrence induction and DV... and adds bling to your engine bay...shoudl feel low down torque increase..

Suppliers took their time with lots of messing around but Sarah's constant ear bashing came good in the end!!

You should see good gains when the snorkel pipe which enters the stock airbox is removed for your new bling.

Yeah i know she aint half a sweety Gotta say, ive been to plenty of garages in my time, but having started to goto JBS since owning my octy(finding out about them on here), the service has been second to none - excellent team (and to quash any rantings -iam in no way associated with JBS!)

If IP really have had them in stock then I think JBS won't be too happy given that they get there's from IP as they're the UK distributor for ABD.

i cannot be 100% sure but all my recent ABD parts were instock at IP? why would JBS not be happy that IP carry stock?

whoops.... i can not votch that they had any.... but even if they did have them in there own personal inventory i dont see why they shoudl send them to a direct competitor...and leave themselves with no stock... JBS would have been waiting for them from ABD direct comming via IP...

I wouldn't suggest they do leave themselves without any. However your original post suggested to me that IP had a plentiful supply. As the sole UK distributor of ABD products they have made commitment to supply the product to other dealers, I doubt very much they'd with hold products from 'competitors' as this wouldn't sit favourably with ABD.

I suspect the issue with supply is down to ABD and that if IP had the items in stock would have sent them to JBS sooner.
