I've been thinking about trading in my X-Type Jag (2006, SE, 94K miles) for a new car and the Octavia estate seems to fit the bill.

 

I test drove one today and I find myself in something of a quandary as I'm not excited by it. Part of that is the rubbish trade in offer but also the fact that the car I test drove (2.0 SE estate) needed to be in sport mode to wake it up.
