Fabia VRS SE

Featured Replies

Hi guys

Recently been to see a Fabia VRS SE, all the normal stuff seemed to be there but the seats are the normal black and white ones, have these been replaced or did some not come with the leather?

Thanks

As far as I know these were limited to 1000 models, each with leather interior with the model number embossed into the seats. Other Special Edition features were red callipers and carriers, tinted rear glass and a 6 CD changer I think.

Yes it has all the other features but the seats are the normal VRS ones, I'm guessing there not normal?

No that isnt normal - all should have black leather with blue piping and have the number embossed.

Pretty sure this has been a floating around for quite some time. Orignally through a private seller who stopped replying to people when questioned. Its also missing the privacy glass in the rear I think.

I'd stay away personally.

Yup it's been around for a good 6 months like this

Ah yes, rings a bell now. If it is the one I'm thinking of, the seller got very agitated when questioned about the anomalies. Again, IF this is that one, I'd avoid it. To be fair, I'd probably avoid it anyway if it doesn't have the original interior, you'd never get it back.

Be sure to ask the seller what number it is and where the tints and leather has gone!

He got pretty annoyed last time this was asked I seem to remember!

Thanks for all the help guys, glad I checked first!!

The leather seats is one of the main reason I went for an SE.

I didn't know about only SE's having red brakes and calipers. I do know that they all had Cruise Control, which is something else to check. She/He could possibly of been offered a good price for the seats and sold them seperately? What a mistake if that was the case.

As the other members have mentioned; steer clear.

Ask to see the V5, if its a genuine Special Edition it will state 'SE' on the model name

Some were registered as VRS PD130 and not SE, which is why out of 1,000 there are only around 800 or so SEs showing on the "How Many Left" website.

I have personally owned a genuine SE that was registered with the DVLA as a normal VRS.

I'd do a HPI check on this SE with cloth VRS seats too.

Maybe someone bought a cheap bumped one, swapped the seats and sold off what they didn't want for their own car.

Either way, it's lost a part of what makes it a genuine SE.

It's number out of 1,000 isn't shown anywhere else...

I've done a text check on the car and sure enough it does come back with "SE" as the model of vRS

It is strange as previously mentioned above because it doesn't have the privacy glass either but does have cruise and the red calipers

I will be avoiding

Avoid when it was for sale 12 months ago privately on eBay it was pictured with a normal vrs in the back ground which had leather and sun dim glass.
