Paintwork refurbed 2012 for stone chips and faded spoiler.

Wheels, never kerbed, refurbed 2011 as a MOT mechanic servicing the front brake calipers dropped them on their faces and broke the lacquer.

Bad bits

Air con compressor, very noisy. Cost of replacement reflected in price.

Slow leak from front right wheel, Quoted £20-30 to repair

The exterior and interior, including the seat bolsters, are in good condition, the gears and engine are still very smooth. My 9 mile A road commute gives me 35+Mpg in the summer and 39-40 Mpg cruising steadily at 70+ on the motorway. The registration will be 07 vice its current personal plate. Cheers Damo. I am not asking much more than the PX and often see comments on the site about finding a decent one. I would be chuffed if a Briskoda person bought it as it has given me a huge amount of pleasure. I have simply had it for the longest time I have ever kept a car and am lucky enough to be able to change it.

Thats a lot of car for just under 4k.....cheapest ive seen. 

I always wanted a red one! That is bloody cheap fella and a lot of car for the money! Good luck with the sale.

Very interested in this, had a red Mk1 Octavia VRS so this seems fitting. Can you confirm where you are based? And how much are we talking for a new compressor? I'll pm you also as could very well come and have this of yours hands quickly, having sold my Passat last week.
