trouble is if I lowered it ...it would have to go ...you just cant drive lowered cars around here.........unless you just stick to A roads and Motorways

Looks great

Looks good Rob

Makes the rear brake discs look a little small though ;) :P

Looks Superb !!

Looks Superb !!

*sigh*

I like the style of them a lot... infact they are my favourite alloys.

Its just crying out to be lowered though...

they do look abit small, are they 18's?

17's.

dunno why everyones going on about them lokking small.

he was packing a whopping 15 inches before........

and the rolling diameter is alomst the same, so its not that they're physically smaller either....

i went from 15 to 17 inches, and, yes, it does look a tad high, but only on any kind of slope, even a driveway.

like the man says, local roads dictate a degree of clreance so as not to damage car, or, importantly , the spines of driver and occupants!

my local roads are just as bad.

besides, there is a smug satisfaction to looking very standard and then producing "interesting" results against the usual irks.

i like the wheels. damn site easier than multi-spokes to clean...

Why does everyone assume that if you lower a car it becomes as hard as nails?

If you get a good quality brand of springs then it should do little more than firm up a touch being nicely progressive.

Morning Ross

Trouble I have with lowering around here (and I suppose the places I go) there are ridges and speed pillows in the centre of the road ...also can't park in a couple of friends places............Went for 17" wheels to give a bit of comfort 40 profile tyres tend to be a bit harsh whereas the 45s I have are quite good ......in the future I may update the suspension but more for better handling than anything else.......just want to keep it looking nice and near standard.....just so I can surprise someone now and again

Oh yes and I can confirm they are magic to clean...........especially after cleaning the vrs ones
