Hi can anyone help When i drove off i heard a loud pop from under the bonnet scince then sometimes the car struggles to pick up speed an puts thick black smoke out and other times it will run ok and not smoke at all

Check the boost pipework, particularly the connectors on the SMIC.

Thanks for the information the problem has been sorted and you were correct it was a pipe had come off the intercooler thanks again
