Fabia stereo power connection

Featured Replies

Eyup.

I have a mk1 Fabia with a cassette player. I also have a Goodmans CD player which was previously installed in my Felicia. I've removed the cassette player and connected the CD player in the Fabia but (apart from the wrong aerial connector) there's one problem - the stereo doesn't get any power when the key isn't in the ignition. It gets power when the ignition key is turned, and even when the key is turned off, but when the key is removed it stops working and the stereo's clock even forgets the time.

I suspect I just need to bridge a couple of pins or something and if I knew what to search for I could find the answer, but then again, someone here probably knows off the top of their heads, hopefully.

On short, switch the red wire with the yellow one.
