New car new chapter

Featured Replies

Hi all my name is graham & last week i bought a 2011 superb 1.6 se in pacific blue due to my wife remodelling our old octavia  The superb is a decent spec car but i wanted to make a bit more user friendly so i replaced the bolero with my old rns315 salvaged from the octavia before it was scrapped also i decided that the standard h7 bulbs wasn't upto much so i bought some phillips xtreme 130 & fitted them today & straight away much better vision also i bought a microphone from eddie_nl so now my bluetooth is fully functional.

Il  try to add so pictures as soon as i can.

Update so far I've had the car for just over 2 weeks & my impressions are so far so good,it seems to be doing mid 40's around town & on sunday i did a run out to Hereford & i was very impressed with the handling on some very twisty a - b roads & the power band was good as long as you used the correct gears.

So far iv added the following

Factory rubber mats front & rear

Replaced bolero with rns315 inc mic & facia plate from skoda

Done various coding on vcds inc large speedo

Arm Rest tray

Front & rear mud flaps Ordered from ebay china

Replaced the head light bulbs with Philips extreme h7 plus 130

Steering wheel phone buttons ordered from ebay

Warning triangle

New bosch front wiper blades

Replaced gear knob insert

Bought touch up pen

Sorry no pictures but its far too cold too standing about taking photos & it needs a dam good wash

Ooh Hereford, not too far from me

nice area but some very dodgy roads & speed limits when stuck behind a tractor or caravan :envy:

Very nice Graham, never got chance to have a look on Sunday as it was too dark and too cold!
