Any recommendations for a good music streaming app to stream flac from a dlna server to ipad and to airplay via an A/V amp? Tried a few all seem to have a few glitches or a poor GUI. I'm currently using 8 player though it gets confused at times. Any recommendations most welcome.

Would suggest going fully wired if it's in the house. Cat5e or cat6 to a cheap Android media player, then HDMI to the amp. I appreciate that wireless is less intrusive though.

The system is fully wired, with a WD 6tb NAS to a Cambridge Audio Stream Magic 6 which is plugged into a Pioneer LX57 A/V amp, which is also networked. The amp and Stream Magic have control apps on the iPad which I use, though again they are not without fault. The pioneer app is brilliant at controling the amp and bluray player, its not so user friendly for streamimg. I was after an itunes style app which would allow me to listen to the music on the ipad with the option of using airplay if I wanted.
